PATO vs Glofox
You’ll need a sales call to find out what Glofox costs. Ours is on the website, the member app and AI are included on every plan, and we take no cut of your members’ payments. Here’s the comparison we can actually show you.

Three lines, then the detail
Their pricing isn’t published. We can’t show you a total, because there’s nothing to compare against — and we’re not going to invent a number for a competitor and call it theirs.
Ours is on the website and always has been: $99 to 100 members, $249 to 300, $499 to 750. The member app, both AI agents and coaching tools are included on every plan rather than quoted, and we take no cut of your members’ payments.
Where they genuinely win is time: a decade in market and ABC Fitness behind them, where we’re new. That’s set out at the bottom of this page.
What Glofox costs
We don’t know, and we’re not going to pretend otherwise.
Their pricing page is a quote-request form — Not published — quote onlyglofox.com(opens their pricing page in a new tab). No plans, no figures, no ranges. The only way to find out what you’d pay is to talk to someone.
We have an internal estimate. It isn’t on this page, because publishing a competitor’s price that we can’t evidence would be unfair to them and unreliable for you. If a comparison page quotes a number you can’t check, treat the whole page with suspicion — including this one.
If you’re getting a quote, ask for three things in writing: the monthly figure at your member count, what a branded member app costs on top, and what percentage — if any — is taken from your members’ payments. Those three decide the real total.
Ours, for comparison, is on the website and always has been: $99/month to 100 members, $249 to 300, $499 to 750. The member app, both AI agents, coaching tools and billing are included at every tier. We take no percentage of your members’ payments.

Your members come across
Export your list, upload it, and we map the columns, catch duplicates and show you exactly what’s going to happen before anything commits. We do it with you, and most gyms are running the same week.
Your payments need re-authorising
Direct debit mandates don’t transfer between providers, so members have to authorise the new arrangement. Most gyms run both systems for one billing cycle and move people across as they re-authorise. It isn’t hard, but it isn’t instant.
Check your notice period
Quote-only pricing usually comes with a contract term attached. Read what you signed before you plan a date — it’s the most common reason a switch slips a month.
Your history stays there
Export payment records for your accountant before you close the account.
Where Glofox is stronger
One thing, really, and it’s time.
Years in the market
Founded in Dublin in 2014 and operating internationally since. That’s a decade of running studios before we existed, and the support relationships and institutional knowledge that come with it. We’re new and we don’t have that yet.
Scale behind them
Part of ABC Fitness, one of the larger companies in this industry. If you want a vendor with a big balance sheet behind it, that’s a real and reasonable thing to weigh — and we can’t match it.
An established boutique footprint
A recognised name in the boutique segment internationally, with a customer base to match. Where we have a handful of founding gyms, they have a track record you can go and ask about.
Questions gym owners ask
They don’t publish it. Their pricing page is a quote-request form with no plans and no figures on it, so the only way to find out is a sales call. We can’t tell you either — and we’re not going to guess at a competitor’s price and present it as fact. Ask them, and get the number in writing along with what a branded app costs on top.
We can’t say, because they don’t publish a price to compare against. What we can say is what ours is: $99 to 100 members, $249 to 300, $499 to 750, with the member app and both AI agents included on every plan and no cut taken from your members’ payments.
Design and brand. The product is polished, it is built specifically for boutique studios, and it has a strong reputation in that segment internationally. If your studio sells a premium experience, that focus is real and it shows in the product.
Not at the time of writing. Their strength is booking, memberships and a well-designed branded app rather than an AI companion members talk to between visits.
Usually days. It is a CSV import with column mapping and a preview, and we run it with you. The part that takes real time is payment mandates, which do not transfer between providers — plan for one billing cycle of overlap.
